Borealis Creamery was founded in 2022 with a simple goal: create exceptional, hand-crafted ice cream using high-quality ingredients and bring people together. What began as a single mobile trailer has grown into a treasured Northern Minnesota brand, serving communities across the region through local events, retail partners, and wholesale locations.

Every batch is crafted with care using house-made mix-ins whenever possible. From rich salted caramel to cookie dough to marshmallow whip, our commitment to quality and creativity is at the heart of everything we make.

In 2026, Borealis Creamery entered an exciting new chapter under the ownership of Abi and Sam Hussman, the team behind Heroes Rise Coffee - Grand Rapids. While ownership has changed, the mission remains the same: continue building on the strong foundation that made Borealis Creamery a local favorite while honoring the relationships, craftsmanship, and community that have been part of the brand from the beginning.
